Blended Mushroom Course
This blended course combines a six-part e-learning programme on composting with an intensive five-day practical training course. During this practical week, the theory is explored in greater depth and immediately put into practice thanks to inspiring company visits. This allows you to experience how the knowledge you have acquired works in everyday practice and to apply it straight away to improve your own processes.
This course has been specially developed for composters who already have experience in mushroom cultivation and want to take their craft to the next level. The programme starts with a six-part e-learning course that clearly explains the core principles and basic processes of composting. This online preparation ensures that you can start the practical part with a solid theoretical foundation.
In the subsequent theory lessons, the trainer delves deeper into the subject matter. You will be challenged to link what you see, smell and feel in your daily work to scientific and practical evidence. This will teach you not only what happens in the composting process, but above all why it happens.
By gaining insight into the underlying biological and chemical processes, you will develop the ability to recognise subtle deviations more quickly. Whether it is a change in smell, colour, texture or temperature, you will learn to interpret the signals correctly and make connections with possible causes. This allows you to proactively adjust the process before deviations lead to quality loss or lower yields.
This course therefore not only provides knowledge, but also practical skills and a keener insight into the composting process, enabling you to work with greater confidence and precision.
